Once your artwork is complete, you can print your labels with American Law Label or elsewhere. This is especially useful if you represent a foreign factory, and printing labels in your country is more convenient than having them shipped to you.

Law Label Artwork and Turnaround Times

The cost of new label artwork is $175 per label.

Once payment has been processed, you will receive your law label artwork as a digital file within 1-2 business days.

California Information: The state of California requires additional information for certain products. This information does not need to be listed on the law label, but must be attached to the product when offered for sale, e.g. on another product tag.

Required Information

Before submitting a request for new law label artwork, please keep the following information in mind:

Information Accuracy: While we can guarantee that your artwork will comply with all state and referral rules regarding design, layout, and other matters related to the artwork, please note that we cannot verify the information you provide about your products. Please ensure the details you provide us are fully accurate.
Uniform Registry Number: Law labels must list the Uniform Registry Number (URN) for the product. Make sure the URN is not expired and that it is registered in each state requiring registration where the product will be sold.

Filling Percentages: Law labels must list each filling material and their percentage by weight. The filling percentages must total 100%, and must be accurate within 1% measured by weight.

Priority Printing ensures that your labels are shipped in one business day. Combined with various UPS delivery options, Priority Printing lets you choose the day your order ships and the day it’s delivered.

Next Day Priority Print – $100 additional service fee. Your order ships from our plant on the next business day.

Priority Printing Restrictions

Label Type: Our Priority Print Service applies only to one-sided labels printed in black ink.

Labels Requiring New Artwork: For labels with new artwork, shipping is determined from the time of artwork approval. Approvals received via email are scheduled according to the timestamp noted on the email, regardless of when the email is actually read (weekends excluded).

Large Orders: Orders of 10,000 labels or more require a longer turnaround time and are ineligible for Priority Printing. If you need labels as soon as possible, we may be able to arrange a partial shipment with Next Day Priority Print.

Cutoff Time: The cutoff time to submit a Next Day Priority Print order is 12:00pm noon, Arizona time. Friday requests will ship the first business day of the following week.
