Children’s Tracking Labels

The CPSC requires distinguishing permanent marks (generally referred to as “tracking labels”) for children’s products designed or intended primarily for use by children ages 12 or younger. The information listed below must be present to satisfy the Children’s Tracking Label requirement. No minimum font size is required however all information must be visible and legible. • Manufacturer/importer or private labeler name
• Location of production of the product
  • Location must be city and country (or province, as applicable) but can also include street address
• Date of production of the product
• Batch, lot, or run number
• Any other information to facilitate ascertaining the specific source of the product.
